Total weather station solution - Wind, Rain, Temperature, Humidity and Pressure
QUESTION: Do you offer a total weather station solution for IoT (Sigfox, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, CAT-M1)?
ANSWER: The MeteoHelix IoT Pro with a rain gauge will provide the following data to World Meteorological standards:
Air Temperature per WMO
Humidity per WMO
Atmospheric Pressure is research grade
Sun intensity (irradiation) is research grade
Rainfall per WMO
MeteoWind IoT Pro will provides the following data:
Wind speed per WMO
Wind direction per WMO
Accuracy of Measurement
Our helical technology stands above the rest in quality of measurement as demonstrated by the following World Meteorological Organization (WMO) study.
WMO shield study: RMI Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium. “Intercomparison of Shelters in the RMI AWS Network” see page 12 for conclusions.
Based on the results of the above study we are able design the MeteoHelix AWOS micro weather station into the MeteoShield Professional thus meeting WMO precision in a very small package.
Open Protocol & Weather Portal
The MeteoHelix features an open protocol, the customer is free to connect it directly to their portal or they can use our allMeteo portal (free of charge). Link to the open communication protocol: https://www.baranidesign.com/meteohelix-message-decoder

Easy to install
MeteoHelix can be mounted anywhere ranging from a wall, post, pipe, fence or even a tree. It weights only 2 lb (1kg) and apart from the rain gauge connection wire (if purchased as an option) it has no other hardware connections to worry about. The accompanying illustration shows the various mounting options.
Weather Station Installation
Assistance and training offered regarding installation, use and maintenance of the equipment and any other salient features:
The MeteoHelix is designed to be very simple, thus it has no connectors for users to break or foul up.
It turns on and off with a supplied magnet.
It has a replaceable filter cap around the sensors, but you probably will never need to replace it.
It has a removable sensor head under the filter cap in case you want to recalibrate the sensors over time. It used for professional meteorology. Replacement is simple. We will guide you on how to do this when the time comes....its pretty simple.
How to turn on the weather station
Just activate it with a magnet (blinks every 5 seconds) and mount it on a wall or post…that’s it. There is nothing else you need to do.
